This year's edition of the rivalry between the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns is more than a battle between two of the possible participants in the BCS Championship Game; it is a referendum on top-level talent heading for the spring's NFL draft.
Consider that this past spring, nine participants in last year's game got drafted -- and that number could have been considerably higher. Both quarterbacks, Sam Bradford and Colt McCoy, could have taken off, as could have Jermaine Gresham and Trent Williams. Perhaps even Sergio Kindle could have left early. Then there's Gerald McCoy, and, well, let's just say neither team will go unrepresented in April, as my Big Board implies.
