Personnel needs

Major need: With LT Branden Albert and RT Donald Stephenson as the only true offensive tackles on the roster, the Chiefs must fortify the edge of this unit in the draft. New QB Alex Smith is a pocket passer who will flourish with better pass protection, and when you factor in that Albert carries the franchise tag, it's conceivable that the Chiefs could listen to offers for him.
