Film Notes: Ravens offense is evolving

After breaking down film, Scouts Inc. gives its take on what to watch in the NFL this weekend:

A new, sophisticated Baltimore passing game

The Ravens used a lot of three wide receiver sets against the Jets, knowing that would probably tie up New York's three cover corners (Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Kyle Wilson). That left pass-catching TE Todd Heap covered by a safety or a linebacker --that's a mismatch that strongly favored the Ravens. They also used some unbalanced line looks to the right with both OTs on the same side to juice up the power run game. This offense is starting to really evolve.
