Film Notes: Eagles adjusting offense

After breaking down film, Scouts Inc. gives its take on what to watch in the NFL this weekend:

Potential Philadelphia offensive tweaks
Michael Vick is seeing a lot of defenses that play their safeties deep and limit their blitzes to prevent big plays. That leaves more room for RB LeSean McCoy to operate in space. We are starting to see more screen plays and delay draws and now a terrific read-option with Vick and McCoy. The QB can come down the line of scrimmage and either keep it and turn upfield or get the ball outside to his back. That is a lot of pressure to put on the edge of a defense. We are also seeing more passing targets to McCoy and TE Brent Celek as defenses try to take away the vertical routes that DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin love to run.
