A few things that jumped out from Week 8

Sometimes, it just jumps off the screen. Other times, it takes a second or third look. Scouts Inc. watched every game in Week 8 and learned a few things about each team.

Titans 31, Colts 21
1. During the first half, Tennessee RBs LenDale White and Chris Johnson spent too much time running laterally and not enough time going north and south. The short passing game kept the Titans in the game and finally broke it open. QB Kerry Collins was particularly successful getting the ball to TEs Alge Crumpler and Bo Scaife, who found seams in the Colts' Cover 2.

2. The Titans' defense used a lot of man-off coverage and relied on their front four to generate pressure. They dropped seven into coverage to prevent a quick strike from QB Peyton Manning to WR Marvin Harrison or WR Reggie Wayne. Tennessee was willing to let RB Dominic Rhodes (8 receptions for 39 yards) and TE Dallas Clark (7 receptions for 94 yards) catch the underneath passes as long as Harrison and Wayne stayed out of the end zone.
