Johnny Manziel would be just another part of Cowboys' circus

NFL executives and evaluators polled Tuesday pointed to the Dallas Cowboys -- surprise, surprise -- when asked where Johnny Manziel would most likely play next.

The Cowboys make sense on multiple levels (discussed below), but they were not the only team that came to league insiders' minds after reports surfaced Tuesday that the Cleveland Browns likely will release the troubled quarterback when the waiver period resumes following Super Bowl 50.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and other teams also could make sense as dark horse candidates. Thinking through possibilities, even the ones that sound unlikely, brings into focus the factors teams should (but might not) take into consideration when deciding whether Manziel is worth a modest investment a couple of months past his 23rd birthday.
