Buffalo Bills

With Jason Croom and Logan Thomas looming, is Charles Clay's role as the team's top tight end safe?

For now, yes. Clay had 43 snaps in Sunday's win over the Chargers, more than double that of either Croom or Thomas. Coach Sean McDermott said after Week 1 that he would "absolutely" like to see more out of Clay. The Bills like Croom's athletic potential and it is fair to question Clay's long-term future in Buffalo, but no change at the position appears on the immediate horizon. -- Mike Rodak
