Greatest week ever

It's the first day of Super Bowl week, and for either Matt Hasselbeck or Ben Roethlisberger it's going to be the beginning of the rest of his life. There is no way to put into words what it feels like to win the Super Bowl. It's the ultimate goal for every NFL player, and it's something that most players have thought about since they were children.

I had the pleasure of winning a Super Bowl in my first try, and it was one of the most amazing moments of my life -- and it still affects my everyday life. There isn't a day that goes by that someone doesn't come up and ask me how it was to win a Super Bowl. All my other accomplishments as an athlete pale in comparison to what my team accomplished on Jan. 30, 1983. Winning the NFL's MVP award, my induction into the College Football Hall of Fame and the records I set at Notre Dame mean nothing in comparison to hoisting the Super Bowl trophy.

The two quarterbacks in Super Bowl XL have to realize that and recognize how important this game will be to the rest of their lives, but they also have to enjoy the game.
