The 2007 playoffs have entered the divisional round and we're down to eight teams vying for a spot in the Super Bowl. The Chargers are still atop Scouts Inc.'s rankings of the best running back units in the postseason, but San Diego has to improve on its performance against Tennessee in the wild-card round if it hopes to beat the Colts.
1. San Diego Chargers
Simply put, if the Chargers are going to beat the Colts on Sunday they must get their running game back on track this week. RB LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for only 42 yards in the wild-card win over Tennessee and he must be better in order to take pressure off QB Philip Rivers. LT is the best running back in the NFL, which places a tremendous amount of pressure on opposing defenses. Tomlinson has outstanding run instincts and patience when setting up blockers in the Chargers' power O schemes, which San Diego will use to attack the edges of the Colts' front seven.
