After breaking down film and critiquing the teams, Scouts Inc. tells you what to pay attention to in the Super Bowl.

Big Ben's big arm

Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger has very good arm strength and can make all of the throws. He has excellent velocity on the deep-out route, which is the signature play for determining arm strength. His deep ball is pretty and he throws it with good velocity. What makes his arm strength special is his ability to throw in the pocket, on the run or even off his back foot. Plus, Big Ben can change up speeds.

Beating the blitz

Cardinals QB Kurt Warner is one of the best in the league versus the blitz. Defenders have trouble getting to him because of the Cardinals' short passing game and his quick release. He does a great job of recognizing pressure and going to his hot read. His receivers also do a good job of sight-adjusting versus the blitz. Consequently, big-time pass-rushers can become very frustrated.
