Last week, I wrote about the Kansas City Chiefs and what they needed to do to turn around their season. They didn't play a perfect game Sunday by any means, but the Chiefs did enough to beat the New Orleans Saints 27-24 in overtime. The Chiefs now find themselves only one game out of the lead in the AFC West.
The Saints? They're 0-3 and have some serious issues, specifically on defense.
What are their biggest problems, and can New Orleans improve its defense this season?
Lack of playmakers
In the National Football League, you must be able to create chaos against opposing quarterbacks and be able to force turnovers. To do this, you need some combination of a terrific scheme and dynamic playmakers who can change the game. Right now, the Saints have neither.
