With both the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks opening the 2013 regular season with victories, this Week 2 "Sunday Night Football" matchup could have a big impact on playoff seeding. Taking a look at the NFL futures market right now, the Seahawks (6-1) and 49ers (6-1) hold the second and third top spots on the board behind Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos (9-2).

The line opened Sunday night with the Seahawks listed as 3-point favorites, and money has come in on San Francisco, likely due to the teams' respective Week 1 performances. Even though Seattle was able to come away with a win, the Seahawks were able to score only 12 points against Carolina, while the 49ers and Colin Kaepernick threw for 412 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers in a win against the very public Green Bay Packers.

Since Pete Carroll became the head coach of the Seahawks in 2010, Seattle is 12-7 ATS against opponents with a winning record. But the interesting aspect of this particular statistic is that Carroll was 2-6 against the spread in his first eight games and 10-1 ATS (7-0 ATS in 2012) in his past 11 games versus winning opponents. Jim Harbaugh became the 49ers' head coach in 2011, and since then San Francisco has gone 28-10 straight up and 25-12-1 ATS overall, 12-5 SU and 11-6 ATS on the road and 3-3 SU and 2-4 ATS on the road versus NFC West opponents.

Before the Seahawks take the field Sunday night, the health of their defense will be a big factor in containing Kaepernick. Seattle was missing four key defenders in Week 1 against the Panthers: DE Bruce Irvin, DE Chris Clemons, DE Cliff Avril and CB Brandon Browner. With DT Brandon Mebane now hampered by an ankle injury, as well, the Seahawks' injury report is definitely one of the reasons the 49ers are seeing 53.6 percent of the public action according to ESPN Insider's PickCenter.

Let's get some analysis of the line from Jay Kornegay of the Las Vegas Hilton and an ATS pick on the game from three wiseguys:
