Falcons 30, Dolphins 28; Atlanta doesn't like to make it easy, that's for sure. But the Falcons' fall from ahead and then come from behind win over Miami on Sunday showed some resiliency. And that's critical for Atlanta at this stage of its development. It was accentuated with a loud, cheering locker room after the game that could be heard from the adjacent media room.

Falcons 13, Dolphins 7 -- Halftime: Atlanta is continuing its complementary football against Miami, including Jaylinn Hawkins' second straight game with an interception -- a pick that led to a two-minute drill score from the Falcons. Kyle Pitts is continuing his ascent, with three catches for 75 yards. Tight ends have been crushing Miami with a combined seven catches for 117 yards. The Falcons need to keep Jaylen Waddle (4-52) from breaking too loose, but otherwise had a strong first half.

Falcons inactives: CB Avery Williams, QB Feleipe Franks, CB Kendall Sheffield, LB Dorian Etheridge, DL John Cominsky, WR Frank Darby, DL Mike Pennel No real surprises here. Franks likely back to inactive due to injuries in multiple places (edge rush, cornerback, Kaleb McGary on COVID-19 reserve)
