The Texans go into halftime leading the Jaguars 6-3, but left points on the board just before halftime. Houston settled for a field goal on second-and-goal and two seconds left in the half. The Texans still had two timeouts left and could have had time for more than one play in the red zone had they used them earlier on the drive.

The Texans enter halftime leading the Saints 14-3, taking advantage of their lone trip to the red zone, which is an area they struggled in last season. But while Deshaun Watson has been impressive (12-of-17 for 129 yards and a touchdown; three carries for 22 yards and a touchdown), he has taken several hard hits and has spent two lengthy stints in the blue medical tent when the defense was on the field.
