Some Giants injury updates after watching practice and listening to Pat Shurmur:
—CB Corey Ballentine was outside standing and watching practice. It will take time to get back on field after getting shot in backside. I asked Shurmur if training camp was reasonable. "Hopefully sooner," he said.
—RT Mike Remmers (back surgery) worked on the side with a trainer. Be back for training camp "for sure."
—LT Nate Solder not at practice after a cleanup in ankle last week. It "flared up" recently. Be back for training camp.
—QB Kyle Lauletta had a "knee cleanup" earlier this offseason. He was at practice but did very little. Should be back soon.
Some other Giants (Dexter Lawrence, Antoine Bethea, Dalvin Tomlinson) not at practice because of travel issues related to weather.
