Phillip Dorsett's one-year deal with the Seahawks is worth $1,047,500 with $137,500 guaranteed, according to ESPN's Roster Management System. His base salary is $910,000 and he got a $137,500 signing bonus. He'll count $887,500 against the cap with the minimum-salary benefit. The max amount of bonus money (signing or roster) a contract can contain and still qualify for the minimum-salary benefit this year is $137,500. That's exactly how much Dorsett's deal contains, all in his signing bonus.

Seahawks agree to add ex-Raiders DE Mayowa

As talks with Jadeveon Clowney continue, the Seahawks beefed up their pass rush by adding DE Benson Mayowa. A source told ESPN it's a one-year, $3 million deal.

The Seahawks have agreed to terms with defensive end Benson Mayowa, his agent, David Canter, announced. The deal is for one year, a source tells ESPN. The 28-year-old Mayowa recorded a career-high seven sacks on only 270 defensive snaps last year with the Raiders. He gives the Seahawks another complementary edge-rusher to go along with Bruce Irvin, but his addition doesn't mean they're done at that position. They still need a primary pass-rusher and Jadeveon Clowney remains available.

Sources: Clowney lowers price to $17M-18M

Free agent Jadeveon Clowney is now seeking a number closer to $17 million to $18 million per season, and the Seahawks and Titans remain "interested" in signing the three-time Pro Bowl selection, sources told ESPN.

Seahawks part with S Thompson, TE Dickson

In a move that clears $5 million in salary-cap space, the Seattle Seahawks have waived safety Tedric Thompson and released tight end Ed Dickson.

The Seahawks are also releasing veteran tight end Ed Dickson, a source confirms to ESPN. This was considered likely after the 32-year-old Dickson spent last season on IR. The Seahawks beefed up their tight-end room by adding Greg Olsen and re-signing Jacob Hollister and Luke Willson. Releasing Dickson saves $3.4 million in cap space to go along with the $2.133 million Seattle saves by releasing safety Tedric Thompson. The NFL Network first reported Dickson's release.

The Seahawks will release safety Tedric Thompson, a source tells ESPN's Josina Anderson. The 2017 fourth-round pick was up and down in 16 starts over the past two seasons and finished last year on IR because of a labrum injury that required surgery. Releasing Thompson is not a surprising move. He no longer projected as a starter with Quandre Diggs on board and was scheduled to make $2.133 million in base salary this season. The Seahawks save that amount while incurring $168,000 in dead money.

More from Quinton Dunbar on 710 ESPN Seattle: Dunbar said he already has some experience with the step-kick technique that the Seahawks have their cornerbacks use, adding: "I kind of implemented some of those things in my game years ago." That's notable given the trouble that Cary Williams had adapting to it in 2015. Dunbar said he's worked with some coaches who have been with the Seahawks and mentioned Marquand Manuel specifically. Dunbar and Manuel are both from Miami and played at Florida.

Quinton Dunbar, who requested a trade from Washington before he was dealt to the Seahawks, told 710 ESPN Seattle that his unhappiness wasn't solely due to his contract. It has one year and $3.5 million remaining. "It's not going to be an issue in Seattle," he said. "Before the trade was [made], I had opportunities with a couple of teams and I wanted to go to Seattle ... I feel like it's a perfect situation for me to go out there and play for a team that competes for a championship every year."
