When the Rangers acquired Sean Avery from the Kings in early February, I thought they'd made a nice pickup. They needed a little sandpaper in their game and Avery is certainly sandpaper. A month later, after watching Avery do his thing in New York, I'd have to upgrade my opinion. The deal to acquire the former Wing and King was a terrific one. In fact, when he's on the ice, I have a hard time taking my eyes off of him.
