Training camps got rolling over the weekend. The most interesting news probably came from New Jersey; where the Devils' $100 million man, Ilya Kovalchuk, was moved to the right side on a potentially powerful line with C Travis Zajac and LW Zach Parise. The former Thrasher is a natural left wing, so we'll be watching to see how things go with this early-camp experiment. The Devils open their preseason slate Tuesday in Philly. It's one of nine exhibition tilts scheduled for that evening.

For now, though, I'll get back to my quickie looks at each division, giving you a best and worst of their summer moves/changes. Here's my take on the Central:
