The Seattle Sounders' pursuit of U.S. international forward Jordan Morris has finally paid off with the Stanford University junior officially signing.
"I am surprised in which great shape this young man from America is. He's got a good understanding of football, looks for open spaces," said Skripnik.
"He has his sights set on the goal at all time, does not think about it too much, and reminds me of my time in ice hockey," said Werder Bremen CEO.
"Our goal is to bring as many [U.S. national team] players to Europe as possible," Herzog said.
United States manager Jurgen Klinsmann has urged Jordan Morris to turn pro after the forward led Stanford the the NCAA title on Sunday.
