The 31-year-old was playing for Al-Sadd Sports Club in Qatar until his contract expired at the end of June, meaning he'll be joining Juarez on a free transfer.
Former Eintracht Frankfurt player Fabian is set to sign a one-year deal with Juarez with an option to extend for a second year should both sides agree, according to sources.
Fabian was spotted in the airport in Ciudad Juarez on Tuesday and will be joining a team that currently sits in sixth position in Liga MX, with one win and two ties from its first three games of the Guard1anes 2020 season.
Fabian played for Mexico at the 2018 and 2014 World Cups and won Olympic gold with El Tri in 2012.
Juarez hosts Fabian's former club Chivas on Wednesday evening, although it is unlikely the attacking midfielder will be match-fit and registered in time to feature.
