Berwick moved further away from danger in Ladbrokes Scottish League Two with a thrilling 4-3 home victory over Clyde.
Rangers, who had picked up seven points from three games prior to their weekend defeat to Elgin, led 2-0 after 30 minutes thanks to Gary Phillips' far-post volley and a neat finish from Greg Rutherford.
However, third-bottom Clyde levelled with two goals in quick succession, Chris Smith smashing home in the 32nd minute before Pat Scullion turned into his own net soon after.
That gave Clyde hope of recording only a second win in 16 matches in all competitions, but they were trailing again by the 37th minute as Steven Thomson fired into the top corner for his 11th league goal of the season.
Rutherford's second of the night with 19 minutes to go made it 4-2, and although Clyde pulled a late goal back through David Gormley's header, Berwick held on to move four points above their opponents.
