Scott Quigley bagged both goals as Wrexham eased to a 2-0 win at out-of-form Hartlepool to maintain their play-off ambitions.
Wrexham were on the front foot during a goalless first half with Quigley and strike partner Scott Boden going close on two occasions, while Pools forward Devante Rodney was denied by a goal-saving tackle by Sam Wedgbury at the other end.
However, Quigley broke the deadlock nine minutes after the restart when he dispossessed left-back Blair Adams before running 40 yards and slotting past goalkeeper Scott Loach.
The on-loan Blackpool forward ensured victory for the visitors after neat build-up play with Boden to fire in his second of the match and help his side move within four points of National League leaders Macclesfield.
