In the 47th minute, Tessmann delivered a powerful right-footer that Yarbrough got his left hand on before it smacked into the crossbar. Six minutes later, Paxton Pomykal sent a left-footed shot toward the left corner of the net but a diving Yarbrough got a hand on the ball to knock it away.
The missed chances were magnified in the 71st minute when Barrios haunted his former teammates with a top-notch individual effort.
Barrios won a run down the left side to retrieve a long pass from Bassett. He began dribbling to his right, created some space and then drilled a right-footed shot into the top right corner of the net.
