Nat Borchers leads players on U.S. radar

History tells us that the MLS playoffs can be an essential proving ground on the way to an international career. And while all eyes are on blue chip U.S. national team prospects like L.A.'s Omar Gonzalez and New York's Tim Ream this fall, other players could also have a lot on the line during the 2010 postseason -- including possible invites to the Yanks' friendly in South Africa this month, and, of course, the annual January national team camp. Here are five guys to watch, and who will be watched, in the playoffs:
