Geelong vs. Melbourne, GMHBA Stadium, 7:20pm (AEST)

Team news: Is this an early Grand Final preview? The Cats will welcome back skipper Joel Selwood, who was rested in the monster win over North Melbourne. Patrick Dangerfield also got through his first game back from a lingering calf strain and will suit up again, though Tom Stewart continues to serve out his suspension. The Dees should be bolstered by the return of Luke Jackson, who was a late out last week, while Max Gawn remains an outside chance to play.

ESPN tip: Cats by 3 points

TAB odds: Cats $1.90, Demons $1.90

Sydney vs. Western Bulldogs, SCG, 7:50pm (AEST)

Team news: Both the Swans and Bulldogs will be desperate to return to the winners' list this week and keep their finals hopes alive. Sydney is still without Josh Kennedy (hamstring), while for the Dogs, eyes will be on Tim English (concussion), Josh Bruce (hamstring), Ed Richards (concussion) and Caleb Daniel, who could all be recalled for Friday night's must-win clash.

ESPN tip: Bulldogs by 11 points

TAB odds: Swans $1.55, Bulldogs $2.45

Collingwood vs. North Melbourne, MCG, 1:45pm (AEST)

Team news: The Kangaroos will have to make at least two changes to the side which was flogged by Geelong in Round 16. Kayne Turner (concussion) and Aaron Hall (hamstring) failed to play out the match. Skipper Jack Ziebell could be in line to make his return from a facial injury. Collingwood's rolling at the moment but will have to play without Darcy Moore in the backline, after he suffered a nasty knee injury late on against the Suns. Jordan De Goey could also miss with a quad issue, and Brodie Grundy is still at least three weeks away from making a comeback.

ESPN tip: Magpies by 58 points

TAB odds: Magpies $1.01, Kangaroos $15

Gold Coast vs. Richmond, Metricon Stadium, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: Tigers superstar Dustin Martin was subbed out of his side's win over West Coast just after halftime with "hamstring awareness" and will miss this week's game against the Suns. The Tigers will also be without Nick Vlastuin, who was suspended for striking. In positive news, Dion Prestia could return from concussion. Gold Coast will have to replace Connor Budarick (ACL) while Ben Ainsworth is also under an injury cloud.

ESPN tip: Tigers by 8 points

TAB odds: Suns $2.10, Tigers $1.74

St Kilda vs. Fremantle, Marvel Stadium, 7:25pm (AEST)

Team news: The Saints kept their finals dream alive with a stirring win over the Blues last Friday night and will look to go back-to-back against the Dockers this weekend. Hunter Clark goes out of the side with concussion, while Dan Butler is facing a fitness test. Jarryn Geary, Jack Bytel and Dan McKenzie will all be proving their fitness ahead of possible returns. Matt Taberner was subbed off against the Power with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss.

ESPN tip: Dockers by 5 points

TAB odds: Saints $1.90, Dockers $1.90

Port Adelaide vs. GWS, Adelaide Oval, 7:30pm (AEST)

Team news: The Power will be keeping a close eye on Xavier Duursma (quad) and Lachie Jones (hamstring) but both are expected to miss this week's clash, while Dan Houston also came off late last round and will be assessed during the week. Scott Lycett (shoulder) and Zak Butters (knee) are close to making their returns. The Giants will be hoping gun midfielder Jacob Hopper is ready to make his long-awaited return from a knee injury.

ESPN tip: Power by 14 points

TAB odds: Power $1.40, Giants $3

Brisbane vs. Essendon, Gabba, 1:10pm (AEST)

Team news: The Lions will lose some serious leadership this week with both skipper Dayne Zorko and star halfback Daniel Rich to miss with hamstring injuries, though neither are as serious as first thought. Eric Hipwood is also facing the AFL Tribunal over an umpire contact incident during Round 16. Essendon will look to back up last week's epic win over the Swans, and could have Andrew McGrath back from an adductor injury.

ESPN tip: Lions by 27 points

TAB odds: Lions $1.14, Bombers $5.80

Hawthorn vs. Adelaide, Marvel Stadium, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: The Hawks and Crows will both fancy their chances of earning a win on Sunday afternoon. James Worpel was subbed out with a shoulder injury early on against the Giants and is unlikely to play this week. Liam Shiels would be the logical replacement in the starting 22. The Crows should name a similar team to the one which gave the Demons a little scare at Adelaide Oval.

ESPN tip: Hawks by 11 points

TAB odds: Hawks $1.55, Crows $2.45

West Coast vs. Carlton, Optus Stadium, 4:40pm (AEST)

Team news: The Blues can't afford another slip up after falling to the Saints in Round 16. Star defender Jacob Weitering could be recalled from a shoulder injury, while Jack Martin and Ed Curnow are also putting their hands up for selection. The Eagles will be hopeful Josh Kennedy is ready to go, after missing last week, but Elliot Yeo goes out of the team with yet another hamstring injury.

ESPN tip: Blues by 13 points

TAB odds: Eagles $3.10, Blues $1.38
