Team news: The Lions have made three changes for their crucial clash with the Saints, with Callum Ah Chee and Marcus Adams (both concussed) and Mitch Robinson (managed) to be replaced by Jack Payne and Jaxon Prior. Dan Hannebery won't play for the Saints, with coach Brett Ratten revealing they were likely to rest him even before his latest injury.

Western Bulldogs vs. GWS, Marvel Stadium, 1:45pm (AEST)

Team news: Luke Beveridge has omitted key defender Alex Keath for a second time in three weeks, with Josh Bruce (managed) also sitting out the do-or-die contest. Lachie Hunter, Ryan Gardner and Stefan Martin all come into the side. For the Giants, injury will keep star Toby Greene out of action for the remainder of the season.

Adelaide vs. North Melbourne, Adelaide Oval, 2:10pm (AEST)

Team news: Inspirational North Melbourne midfielder Ben Cunnington has been given the green light for his AFL return this week, while the club has also made a huge call to drop underperforming young Guin Jason Horne-Francs. Riley Thilthorpe, Tom Doedee will both return to Matthew Nicks' lineup, with Ben Davis (medi-sub), Elliott Himmelberg (omitted) and Will Hamill (injured) making way.

ESPN tip: Crows by 11 points

Gold Coast vs. Geelong, Metricon Stadium, 4:35pm (AEST)

Team news: The Cats have made a host of changes this week, with Gary Rohan, Joel Selwood, Mark Blicavs and Patrick Dangerfield all returning in a huge boost for the club. Out of the side goes Jonathon Ceglar (medi-sub), Luke Dahlhaus (Omitted), Mark O'Connor, Mitch Duncan and Isaac Smith (all managed). For the Suns, Sam Day and Sam Flanders will replace Jeremy Sharp (omitted) and Nick Holman (injured).

ESPN tip: Cats by 19 points

Melbourne vs. Carlton, MCG, 7:25pm (AEST)

Team news: The Blues will look to keep their season alive when they face the Demons on Sunday night and will need to do it without skipper Patrick Cripps, who was suspended for two weeks for a late hit on Lion Callum Ah Chee. Carlton will also be missing fellow inside midfielders George Hewett and Matt Kennedy. For the Demons, Tom McDonald remains sidelined and isn't expected to return until the finals, if at all.

Fremantle vs. West Coast, Optus Stadium, 7:40pm (AEST)

Team news: After his heroics in his final game, Josh Kennedy will need to be replaced in the Eagles side that narrowly lost to the Crows in Round 21. Tim Kelly will also drop out after receiving a one week suspension. Meanwhile, Dockers skipper Nat Fyfe will miss yet another game, but small forward Sam Switkowski will make his long-awaited return after an injury-interrupted campaign.

Richmond vs. Hawthorn, MCG, 1:10pm (AEST)

Team news: Ivan Soldo, Rhyan Mansell, and Shane Edwards could all line up for the Tigers this week, while Daniel Howe, Jack Saunders (debut), Jackson Callow and Liam Shiels have been included in Hawthorn's extended squad.

Sydney vs. Collingwood, SCG, 3:20pm (AEST)

Team news: The Magpies have confirmed star ruck Brodie Grundy won't play again in season 2022, with Craig McRae adding Callum Brown, Will Kelly and Oliver Henry to the Magpies' extended squad. Braeden Campbell, James Bell, Peter Ladhams and Will Gould could all be in line to return for the Swans.

Essendon vs. Port Adelaide, Marvel Stadium, 4:40pm (AEST)

Team news: The Bombers have included Dylan Shiel, Jye Caldwell, Nick Bryan, Tom Cutler and Zach Reid in their squad this week, electing to omit key forward Harrison Jones. For the Power, Robbie Gray has been managed, with key talks Mitch Georgiades and Todd Marshall both earning a recall after being dropped last week.
