We've made it to the 2022 AFL Grand Final. Here you'll find all of the latest team news, tips, odds, reaction and video as they come to hand.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 24
Cats team news: Geelong speedster Max Holmes is a late out of the 2022 Grand Final after he was unable to pass a fitness test on his hamstring which was injured in the preliminary final win over Brisbane. Stopper Mark O'Connor will come in, with Brandon Parfitt the sub.
Swans team news: For the Swans, Sam Reid will play despite being subbed out of their thrilling preliminary final against Collingwood with an adductor injury. Justin McInerney will also play, despite rolling an ankle in last week's win. However, it wasn't great news for young forward Logan McDonald, who has been dropped for the decider, Hayden McLean to take his place in the Sydney forward line.
ESPN tip: Geelong by 25 points
TAB odds: Cats $1.50, Swans $2.60
What Rohan Connolly says: Geelong will win. It's been the best side in the AFL, and by more and more the longer this season has gone. The Cats are cherry ripe for this mission a decade in the making, and all parts of their machine, defence, midfield and attack, are ticking over beautifully.
What Jake Michaels says: I have to take the Cats as the outright winner. As great as Sydney has been this season, and in finals, I think Geelong is more suited to the MCG, where I expect them to reverse the result of their Round 2 clash in Sydney.
What Matt Walsh says: I think this will be a cracking game because I think both teams can win it. The Swans have nothing to lose, but I still think the Cats, by perhaps 16 points.
What Jarryd Barca says: I think Geelong gets it done comfortably. They're riding a 15-game win streak and have proven to be the hardest team to score against (67 points per game) all season.
