GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- A.C. Leonard is the ninth Florida player arrested since coach Will Muschamp took over for Urban Meyer in January 2011. It is by far the most serious of the transgressions committed. Here's a look at the list of arrests:
Janoris Jenkins: Arrested twice for possession of marijuana (Jan. 22, 2011 and April 23, 2011). He was dismissed from the team.
Kedric Johnson: Arrested for possession of marijuana Jan. 27, 2011. Still on the team. Team punishment not announced.
Chris Martin: Arrested for possession of marijuana Jan. 29, 2011. Team punishment not announced. Transferred in June 2011.
De’Ante Saunders: Arrested for possession of marijuana May 25, 2011. Still on the team. Team punishment not announced.
Matt Elam: Arrested for underage alcohol possession of alcohol on July 24, 2011. That was his second arrest on that charge. He also was also arrested in 2010. Still on the team. Team punishment not announced.
Dee Finley: Arrested for driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest without violence on Sept. 12, 2011. Team punishment not announced, but he did not play against Tennessee in the following game. Transferred in October 2011.
Marcus Roberson: Arrested for underage possession of alcohol on Sept. 19, 2011. Still on team. Team punishment not announced.
Leon Orr: Arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Jan. 10, 2012. Still on the team. Team punishment not announced.
A.C. Leonard: Arrested for battery on Feb. 15, 2012. Situation pending.
