It’s the craziest day of the year in hockey. The clock struck noon to start the NHL’s unrestricted free agency and the impact of the interview period was felt as some of the biggest free agent names flew off the board. James Reimer got things started at, oh, about 12:02 p.m. ET and we were off. In the first hour, Kyle Okposo (Sabres), Andrew Ladd (Islanders), Frans Nielsen (Red Wings) and David Backes (Bruins) were all signed and sealed.

So, who are the day’s big winners?
