DETROIT -- It took all of 45 seconds for Evgeny Kuznetsov to end another overtime. The burgeoning Washington Capitals star took a pass along the wall early in overtime in Detroit, made a subtle little pass to himself off the wall to get past Henrik Zetterberg, and then turned on the jets to beat the remaining Red Wings on the ice to goalie Petr Mrazek.

Just like that, a tight goalie battle was over. The kid nicknamed Harry Potter by his teammates after his arrival from the KHL worked his magic again.
