The quarterbacks, running backs and wide receivers have each been tackled, so to speak, in our summer look at tiered rankings for the upcoming season and now, without further ado, it’s time for the tight ends. There’s obviously one fellow at this position head and shoulders above the rest, but you might be surprised at how I view the rest of the tiers falling into place. After all, first decide what your philosophy is -- not mine, yours -- when it comes to tight ends. Some people want the best and then don’t want to deal with the position. Others, like me, will likely be waiting quite a while in drafts to fill it.
