Boston's trade of Fab Melo for veteran forward Donte Greene is essentially a swap of a guaranteed contract in 2013-14 for one that is not guaranteed, and with Greene slated to be the 13th or 14th man one has believe the Celtics may not have plans to keep him. Cutting Greene prior to the season would put the Celtics a little more than half million below the luxury tax and open up a roster spot, but would it open the door back up for 2013 second-rounder Colton Iverson?
