The Memphis Grizzlies, according to Ronald Tillery of The Commercial-Appeal, made two roster moves on Sunday by waiving guard Josh Akognon and forward Derrick Byars. Both players were long-shots to make the regular season roster and they may have asked for their release to look at other options, including from overseas.
