Recruitment so far
Unlike most five-star prospects, Sexton hasn’t been a big name for several years -- and his recruitment got off to a late start. He blew up in the spring on the Nike EYBL circuit, setting scoring records with the Southern Stampede AAU program. Prior to that, only a couple of high-major schools were involved, including Alabama and Georgia Tech. Eventually most of the power programs came knocking, and Sexton trimmed his list to 10 schools in July. This fall, he’s visited Kansas, Oklahoma State, NC State and Alabama -- and Sexton told ESPN.com on Monday that he was focused on those four schools. He also said that he plans on committing during the early signing period, which begins on November 9.
