HOUSTON -- Here are five observations from the Nike EYBL event this past weekend:
1. The top spot in the Class of 2016 is up for debate among a handful of elite prospects in Harry Giles, Jayson Tatum and Josh Jackson. However, despite the all-around scoring prowess of Tatum and the freakish athletic package of Jackson, Giles is the best combination of skill, savvy and athleticism. He can play inside and out due to his shooting touch and footwork while operating in the paint. Duke appears to be out in front of North Carolina, Kentucky, Wake Forest, Ohio State and Syracuse. Could Giles and the aforementioned Tatum be the next dynamic tandem headed to Durham?
