HYATTSVILLE, Md. -- Over the last few years, Mark Turgeon and Maryland have put a renewed emphasis on keeping prospects from the D.C.-Maryland-Virginia area home for college. The Terrapins have landed the likes of Melo Trimble, Dion Wiley, Seth Allen, Roddy Peters and Damonte Dodd -- along with ESPN 100 signee Anthony Cowan Jr. in the 2016 class.
This weekend, though, It was two national players visiting the DMV that had Maryland buzzing in recruiting circles.
