Recruiting Q&A with Villanova coach Jay Wright

Jay Wright has the Villanova Wildcats atop the college basketball world for the first time since winning it all in 1985. Despite Wednesday's loss to fellow top-5 member Xavier, Wright and Co. will be No. 1 for at least a few more days -- and remain a strong candidate for a top seed when the brackets are revealed March 13.

Wright's resume' during 15 years at Villanova includes four Sweet 16s, a pair of Elite Eights and a Final Four in 2009 -- and the 2015-16 team might offer his best chance at a national title.

Wright, who also has a top-40 class highlighted by No. 16 overall prospect Omari Spellman coming in for next year, sat down with Paul Biancardi to discuss the evolution of his program on the recruiting trail, what he saw in Ryan Arcidiacono and Daniel Ochefu as recruits, and what he would change about the recruiting process, among other topics.
