Ole Miss beat Mississippi State on the field in November and now has beaten the Bulldogs in recruiting for a top prospect. ESPN 300 wide receiver A.J. Brown, a native of Starkville, Mississippi, spurned the hometown Bulldogs to sign with the Rebels.
Mississippi State wasn’t the only team to miss out on the four-star prospect. The No. 66 recruit in the country was also considering Alabama and California. Brown will join other ESPN 300 receiver pledges Tre Nixon and DeKaylin Metcalf.
