Weekend Rewind: Oregon

On Saturday, the Oregon Ducks blew out another opponent in a game that was essentially over by the end of the first quarter. They put on a show for the fans, but unfortunately the one official visitor they hosted this weekend was delayed in getting to Eugene in time for the game.

Even though the No. 40 player in the ESPN 150 missed the game, safety Leon McQuay III of Seffner (Fla.) Armwood, made it to the Oregon campus with his parents Saturday afternoon. McQuay stayed in Eugene

until Monday in order to take full advantage of the visit after long trip from Florida.

The early word is that the McQuays have been blown away by everything the Ducks have to offer both on -- and more importantly -- off the field. More information will be available once the nation's No. 3 safety leaves campus and returns home, but it sounds as if the Ducks have made a strong impression on him, and his parents.
