Weekend Rewind: USC

LOS ANGELES -- As was the case following the demoralizing loss to Stanford in September, USC recruits were for the most part supportive Saturday after the Trojans stumbled against unranked Arizona, 39-36.

• Top-rated safety commit Su'a Cravens (Murrieta, Calif./Vista Murrieta), arguably the most loyal USC fan in the current recruiting class, was blunt on Twitter. He tweeted, “If any recruit thats committed to USC wants to decommit cuz they lost leave. We trojans stick together no matter what. Were a close family!”

Cravens wasn’t the only one to voice his encouragement. Four-star defensive end commit Kylie Fitts (Redlands, Calif./Redlands East Valley) said, “Keep calm and fight on!” while four-star offensive line commit Khaliel Rodgers (Elkton, Md./Eastern Christian Academy) tweeted, “Dnt worry.. Cuz next year.. The DREAM TEAM class enrolls.. And we hungry for the nat'y.” Four-star cornerback commit Jalen Ramsey (Brentwood, Tenn./Brentwood Academy), who wasn’t swayed following an official visit to Florida earlier this season, wrote, “Wow.. Don't call or text me or tweet me.. idc tho USC all day every day Fight ON.”

• Four-star offensive tackle commit Nico Falah (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco) has set his official visit to USC for the weekend of Jan. 18, he told WeAreSC on Friday. Four-star receiver commit Sebastian LaRue (Santa Monica, Calif./Santa Monica) has not locked up a date for his official visit to campus but has scheduled official trips to Washington State (Nov. 9 versus UCLA) and Ohio State (Nov. 23 versus Michigan).
