There were several key SEC games this weekend including Florida's dominating win over Ole Miss, Georgia’s tough loss to Alabama and Texas A&M continuing its winning ways by defeating Mississippi State at home. As always, the recruiting fallout from these games was plentiful. Here’s a closer look at some of the top weekend recruiting news from around the SEC.
Biggest commits: Florida and Missouri picked up commitments after their big wins over the weekend. Florida landed a pledge from three-star athlete McArthur Burnett immediately following the Gators’ 38-10 victory over Ole Miss on Saturday night. Though listed as a running back, Burnett committed to the Gators as a cornerback. With the addition of the former Miami commit, the Gators are now up to 21 commitments including three which are ranked in the ESPN 300.
