UA jersey tour: ESPN 300 OT Austin Troxell

Offensive tackle Austin Troxell received his Under Armour All-America Game jersey Wednesday in a presentation sponsored by American Family Insurance at Madison Academy in Madison, Alabama.

“It's an honor to be named an Under Armour All-America,” said Troxell. “For my name to be recognized as one of the top players in the country is a blessing. I set a goal to be an Under Armour All-America and it feels good knowing that I accomplished that goal.”

Troxell surprised some when he committed to Auburn in June. It was a decision that was all about family, and the 6-foot-7 offensive tackle has not looked back.

“I picked Auburn because it is the school that fits me the best. The family feel it has makes it feel like home and that's one of the big reasons why I chose to go to Auburn. I will not take any other official visits.”

Five questions with Austin Troxell:

What players are you looking forward to teaming up with at the Under Armour All America game?

"I'm looking forward to teaming up with all the guys. It's just a blessing to be playing with all the top guys in the country."

What is your earliest football memory?

"My earliest football memory is way back when I played flag football and I played running back. I remember out running everyone and scoring TD's."

If you could take on any professional athlete in their sport, who would it be and why?

"I would want to take on LeBron James just because he's the best."

What number do you wear, and why?

"I wear 78, but there's no special reason."

What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

"I like to draw and paint."

The 2017 Under Armour All-America Game will be played on January 1 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on ESPN with practices televised on ESPNU during the week.
