Washington signed two top twenty quarterbacks this past signing day and now the Huskies have followed that up by landing a four-star center to snap the ball. The Huskies got a commitment from Dane Crane (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif/Catholic), a tough kid who can be a strong physical run blocker.
He displays good flexibility and initial quickness and the tools with polish to make all the required run blocks. Displays the ability with good arm length and nimble feet to be strong in pass protection. Crane brings a nice combination of size, ability, and toughness and has the tools to develop into a fine college center.
Washington’s starting center will be a senior this season, so Crane is a good need pick-up as well and should offer at least quality depth at that position when he steps on campus.
