Baylor attracting better defensive talent

As a defensive player going to an offensive juggernaut, make no mistake that four-star safety T’Kevian Rockwell (Wylie, Texas/Wylie) will arrive at Baylor with a chip on his shoulder.

But he’s also extremely appreciative of all the Bears can do on offense because it should allow him to make more plays.

“I feel like since we are outscoring teams, that’s going to make them pass it more, which means more of an opportunity to get picks and maybe a pick-six like my friend T Burt [Terrell Burt],” he said.

That’s just one of many reasons more highly-regarded defensive prospects are looking at Art Briles’ program.
