DE Mustafaa sitting on lots of offers

Naim Mustafaa (Alpharetta, Ga.) is a standout defensive end from the Peach State. This 6-foot-4, 238-pounder already has a slew of scholarship offers from teams like Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, UCF, MTSU and Missouri.

“I would have never imagined things happening this fast,” Mustafaa said. “Middle Tennessee State was my first scholarship offer back in October, and Georgia Tech was my last this past Saturday.”

According to his coach, Jason Dukes, the 6-foot-4, 235-pound Mustafaa has all the tools to be an outstanding defensive end at the next level.

“He does everything really well,” Dukes said. “Naim plays with a great motor, is very strong and athletic. He’s so disciplined and plays assignment football. Naim is explosive out of his hips and uses his hands well. He’s just a really good football player.”

Mustafaa has attended the Georgia Tech junior day last weekend. He will go to upcoming junior days at Auburn, Alabama, FSU and Georgia.

“I am pretty open right now,” Mustafaa said. “I want to look at all my options. I am looking at that vibe when I sit down with all those coaches. I want to see how I really feel. Of course academics are huge with me, as well.”
