With news this week that New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul has undergone back surgery, there's been a lot of discussion on how they'll replace him if he isn't back on the field for the start of the season. The current projection has him returning by Aug. 27 -- in time, obviously, to play in the season-opener on Sept. 8 -- but setbacks are always possible, especially when dealing with a back issue. Along the contingency plan lines, there has been some talk that the team could target FA John Abraham, the best of the currently available DEs on the market.
