The Blues’ pre-deadline addition of Zbynek Michalek -- who’s due to return from a concussion in the foreseeable future -- strengthens a corps of defensemen that has sorely missed Kevin Shattenkirk (abdominal surgery). And, Shattenkirk himself is expected back before the end of March.
