C.J. Wilson's shot at redemption

Texas Rangers Game 5 starter C.J. Wilson has cemented his place in baseball history. After losing Game 1 of the World Series, Wilson became the first pitcher to lose the All-Star Game as well as a game in each division series, league championship series and World Series.

If this bothers Wilson, he’s not showing it.

Texas manager Ron Washington told me he was confident that Derek Holland, his starter on Sunday night, would pitch a gem and go deep into the game. Indeed, Holland did, going 8 1/3 innings, giving up just two hits the entire game. Before Game 1, Washington said "C.J. owes us," and he's confident that Wilson will pay up tonight.
