Pike's peak could be still to come

As the regular season draws to an end, a player whose stock is improving every week is the Cincinnati Bearcats 4th year junior QB Tony Pike.

After putting together back-to-back impressive outings in late September, he would be lost for the next two games with a broken left arm. Rusty in his return versus Connecticut, Pike has been quite impressive in the Bearcats' four games since that point. On Saturday versus Pittsburgh, he completed 26 of 32 passes for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns.

The first thing that gets your attention is at 6-6 - 225 pounds, he is surprisingly very mobile. On numerous occasions this season, he has impressed me with his ability to escape the pass rush and make a big play. Along with being very adept at finding open receivers on the move, he possesses a good arm, is sound mechanically and manages the game well (15 touchdowns/4 interceptions).
