If there is one thing we learned from the first two seasons of the College Football Playoff, it is that nonconference scheduling matters more than ever before.

Baylor and North Carolina experienced firsthand the impact that weak nonconference schedules can have on College Football Playoff hopes, and other Power 5 programs have taken notice by scheduling tougher nonconference games going forward.

Which teams might be left explaining their schedules in 2016? ESPN's Chris Low took a crack at ranking the weakest Power 5 nonconference schedules in early February, but let's see if the computers agree with the help of ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI).
